Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Ropar invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment of Non-Teaching Posts; Assistant Registrar, Assistant Librarian, Assistant Executive Engineer, Sport Officer, Security Officer, Junior Lab Assistant, Junior Attendant in the respective pay scale. Interested candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and all required qualifications for the posts may apply in prescribed format to the Registrar of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) within 30 days from publication date of this notification. Details are below:
1. Assistant Registrar – 02 – Rs.15600 to 39100 – Master’s degree with 50% Marks with 5 years relevant Administrative Experience
2. Assistant Librarian - 01 – Rs.15600 to 39100 – PG Degree in Information Science / Library Science with 55% Marks and relevant experience of 7 years
3. Assistant Executive Engineer (Civil Electrical) – Rs.15600 to 39100 – 02 – Graduate degree in Electrical / Civil with 3 years experience
4. Sports Officer - Rs.15600 to 39100 – 01 – PG Degree in Physical Education with 55% Marks with work experience of 5 years
5. Security Officer – 01 – Rs.9300 to 34800 – Commissioned Officer of Air Force / Navy / Army with relevant exp. of 6 years
6. Assistant Security Officer – 01 – Rs.9300 to 34800 – Bachelor’s degree with relevant exp. of 4 years
7. Junior Accounts Officer – 01 – Rs.9300 to 34800 – Master of Commerce with Accounting Software knowledge
8. Jr. Technical Superintendent – 04 – Rs.9300 to 39100 – Master of Science in Maths / Chemistry / Physics with relevant experience of 2 years
9. Steno – 03 – Rs.5200 to 20200 – Graduate degree with stenography speed of 80 wpm and Typing Speed of 30 wpm and Working exp. of 2 years as Steno and Computer knowledge
10. Jr. Accountant – 04 – Rs.5200 to 20200 – Bachelor of Commerce with relevant exp. of 2 years and computer knowledge
11. Jr. Assistant – 08 – Rs.5200 to 20200 – Graduate degree with Computer knowledge
12. Junior Lab Assistant – 15 – Rs.5200 to 20200 – Graduate degree in Maths / Chemistry / Physics
13. Junior Attendant (Semi-Skilled) – 05 – Rs.5200 to 20200 – Matriculation with relevant trade experience of one year

Rs.100 for the Sr. No. 1 to 4 and Rs.50 for Sr. No. 5 to 13 in the form Demand Draft in favour of “Registrar, IIT Ropar, Payable at Rupnagar, Punjab. Applicants who belong to SC / ST are exempted from application fees:
