Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEB) has invited applications in prescribed format from resident of Himachal Pradesh for filling up the posts of Junior Engineer (JE) , Clerk, Steno typist etc by way of special Drive under Persons with disability (PWD) Act 1995. This is a contract basis recruitment for a period of one year initially which may be increased according to performance of applicants and requirement of such employees. If applicants are resident of Himachal Pradesh and have requisite educational qualification as prescribed, they can apply for posts only in prescribed format before its closing date of receipt of application 31 Oct 2011. 1. Name of Post – Junior Engineer ( Chemical / Mechanical)

Pay Scale – Rs. 15250/- (Fixed)
Posts reserved for category of : – OH, HH (PD)
Educational Qualification – Applicants should have at least Matriculation with Diploma Diploma in Civil / Mechanical / Automobile Engineering from recognized institution/university/board.
2. Post Name – Junior Engineer ( Electrical)
No. of vacancies – 20 ( Gen – 12, SC – 08)
Scale of Pay – Rs. 15250/- (Fixed) per month
Posts are reserved for persons of categories of OH HH (PD)
Educational Qualification – Matriculation with Diploma in Electrical / Electronics / Electronics and Communication / Computer Science Engineering from recognized board/ institution.
3.Name of Post – Clerk
No. of Vacancies – 10 ( Gen – 6, SC – 04)
Catteries’ name for which posts are reserved - OA, B,BL, OAI, HI and LV
Scale of Pay – Rs. 8700/- (fixed) Per Month
Requisite Qualification – Applicants should be pass Intermediate or Graduation with 50% marks from recognized board or university ,should have a certificate of ‘O’ Level Course in Computer of recognized institute and a speed of 30 word per minute in Hindi typewriting
4. Name of Post – Steno typist
Total Vacancies – 03 ( Gen – 02, SC – 01)
Categories for which posts are reserved – HI, OI, BI and OA
Salary – Rs. 8700/- Per month
Educational Qualification – Applicants should have passed certificate of 10+2 with 55% marks and a degree of Graduation in any discipline with minimum 45% marks from recognized board or university
5. Post Name – Electrician ( M&T)
Total Post – 01 (Gen)
Category’s Name for Which post is reserved – HI
Stipend – Rs. 9450/- Per Month
Educational Qualification – Applicants should have a certificate of Matriculation of recognized board and certificate of ITI in Electrician / Instrumentation trade of Government institution
6. Post Name – Electrician
