NHPC Limited (A Mini Ratna schedule ‘A’ Enterprise of Govt. of India ) invites desired and Eligible Candidates for Walk in interview for filling up the post of Engineers for Rural Roads and Electrification works in Bihar. Details are as follow:

Name of the post – Civil/ Electrical Engineer

Educational Qualification –

For Civil Engineer – Candidate must have degree in BE/ B.Tech/AMIE in civil from recognized University/ Institute which must be approved by AICTE with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade.

For Electrical Engineer – Candidate must have degree in BE/B.Tech/AMIE in Electrical from recognized University/ Institute which must be approved by AICTE with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade

Job description – Under  Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana and  , Government of Bihar has handed over the responsibilities of manufacturing roads in Bihar to NHPC. This corporation Ltd has been allotted for  constructing the roads in rural areas in the different districts of Bihar As for Muzaffarpur ,Vaishali, Sitamadhi/Seohar, Betiah and Motihari. The Electrification works for strengthening & augmentation of Distribution and Sub-Transmission system in the state of Bihar is to be  implemented in Darbhanga, Madhubani, East Champaran, West Champaran, Sitamarhi and Sheohar districts . These Plans are being carried out in a time bound manner on basis of priority.

Nature of Job –The nature of job is fixed tenure basis for a period up to 31 March 2012.

Age limit – For all above post maximum Age limit is 30 years as on 31 August 2011.

Reservations and Relaxations – Age relaxation and seat reservation for SC/ST/OBC/PH / Ex – serviceman / J&K Migrants will as per as Govt. Rules.

Salary – For Civil and Electrical Engineer – Rs.16,500/-per month and Rs.3000/- additional for using the vehicle for office use if any owned by self.

Medical Fitness – selection will be subject to being found medically fit by the company’s manual Medical Officer or Government Medical Officer.

Selection Process – Selection for this job shall be based on Personal Interview.

Interview Date – The Candidate can participate for interview as follow-

For Civil Engineer – 23 Sept.2011 (10 A.M to 6.00 PM)

 Electrical Engineer – 24 Sept. 2011 (10 A.M. to 6.00 P.M)

Venue of Interview – NHPC Ltd., Vidyut Bhawan-II, 2nd Floor, J.N.Nehru Marg,Bailey Road (Bihar ) Pin -800021

Note – Registration for interview of the applicant will be received between 10.00 A.M.to 1 P.M

How to Apply – For participating in interview Eligible Candidates have to download only one set of forms. The application forms can be downloaded from the web link given underneath. Candidate should paste a passport size photograph on Application form. The candidate has to bring this print out duly filled in along with a copy of educational certificates Age Certificate , caste certificate etc and All original certificates for Verification.

Note – Candidates are advised to keep E-mail ID active for at least one year. No change in E-mail Id will be allowed once given. All future correspondence shall be sent via E-mail only.

Candidates employed with Government departments/PSUs/Autonomous bodies shall have to produce NOC at the time of Interview.
