Applications are invited in prescribed format by Indian Institute of Sugarcane Research (IISR) from the citizens of India for the recruitment of Subject Matter Specialist, Program Assistant and Farm Manager in Krishi Vigyan Kendra. This is a contract basis recruitment which may be continue in future.if candidates have degree of Bachelor or Master in relevant field then they are eligible to apply for this recruitment .Only those applications will be accepted which will reach on or before 17 September 2011.

Followings are details of this recruitment

1. Name of the Post – Subject Matter Specialist (T-6)

Total - 04 posts

Age Limit – 18-35 years

Payment – PB – 3, Rs 15,600 – 39,100/- with Grade Pay Rs 5400/-

Discipline – Animal Science – 01 post

Essential Qualification – Master degree in Animal Science from recognized universtiy

Desirable – Ph.D and two years teaching experience

Discipline – Agricultural Extension/ Agricultural Economics - 01 post

Essential Qualifications – Master Degree in Agricultural Extension / Agricultural Economics from recognized university of India or foreign with good academic record.

Desirable – Ph.D in relevant discipline and two years experience in teaching or research or extension field.

Discipline – Soil Science – 01 post

Essential Qualification - Master Degree in Soil Science from recognized university of India or foreign.

Desirable – Ph.D. in relevant discipline and two years of teaching or research or extension

Discipline – Agronomy – 01 post

Essential Qualification – Applicants should have PG Degree in Agronomy from recognized university

Desirable – Ph.D. in relevant field and two years experience of teaching or research or extension

2. Program Assistant (T-4)

Total post – 01

Pay Scale – PB-2, Rs 9,300 – 34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

Age Limit – Applicants’ age must be between 18 years and 30 years

Essential qualification – Candidates should possess a Bachelor degree in Computer Application from recognized university or institute

Desirable – MCA and 2 years experience in handling agriculture based data in computer

3. Farm Manager (T-4)

Total Vacancy – 01

Pay Scale – PB-2, Rs 9,300 – 34,800/- with Grade Pay Rs 4200/-

Age Limit – between 18 years and 30 years

Essential Qualification – Candidates should have a Bachelor degree in Agriculture from recognized university or institute

Desirable – Specialization in Farm Management and 2 years Experience in field of agrculture

Fee of application - Candidates will have to pay Rs 200/- as Bank Draft in favour of ” ICAR Unit-IISR, Lucknow” Payable at Lucknow.Candidate must write his/her name and post applied for on the reverse of Bank Draft. Draft should be attached with application form. the candidates of SC/ST are exempted from the fee.
