Exam pattern of TET, Himachal Pradesh

The state government, Himachal Pradesh announced the recruitment details for trained graduate teacher for the following posts

Trained Graduate teacher (Arts)

Syllabus of Trained Graduate Teacher (Arts)

• pedagogy, teaching learning process, child psychology and development – 30 question
• General awarenance relating to Himachal Pradesh, EVS and current affairs – 30 questions
• English grammar and literature – 30 question
• Social studies- 60 question

Note- Each questions have only one marks without negative marks, time given to the candidates is about one and half hour

 Trained Graduate teacher (Non-medical)

Syllabus of Trained Graduate Teacher (Non-Medical)

• pedagogy, teaching learning process, child psychology and development – 30 question
• General awarenance relating to Himachal Pradesh, EVS and current affairs – 30 questions
• Mathematics – 30 questions
• Physics and Chemistry –   60 questions

Note- Each questions have only one marks without negative marks, time given for the candidates is about one and half hour

Trained Graduate teacher (Medical)

Syllabus of Trained Graduate Teacher (Medical)

• pedagogy, teaching learning process, child psychology and development – 30 question
• General awarenance relating to Himachal Pradesh, EVS and current affairs – 30 questions
• Chemistry- 30 questions
• Botany and Zoology- 60 questions

Note- Each questions have only one marks without negative marks, time given for the candidates is about one and half hour

Teacher eligibility test standard for these three examination

•  Test of pedagogy , teaching learning process , child psychology and development is mainly focused on the educational psychology, learning and teaching capacity of the child belongs age of 11 to 14 years
• The questions of the other sections will based on the syllabus of 6 to 8 class but the ability standard are higher level of state board.

Teacher Eligibility Test for shastri

Syllabus of Shastri teacher

• Shastri Degree course – 120 questions
• General awarenance relating to Himachal Pradesh, EVS and current affairs – 30 questions

Note- Each questions have only one marks without negative marks, time given for the candidates is about one and half hour

TET standard for Shastri teacher

Candidates have  Shastri degree from Himachal Pradesh University

Language teacher

Syllabus of Language teacher

• Hindi course of graduation – 120 questions
• General awarenance relating to Himachal Pradesh, EVS and current affairs – 30 questions

Note- Each questions have only one marks without negative marks, time given for the candidates is about one and half hour

TET standard of  language teacher

•  Candidates have graduate degree in Hindi course from HP University.

Minimum essential marks to qualify-

Minimum qualifying marks is 60 % for counseling.

Certificate of Teacher Eligibility Test

TET qualifying certificate has been issued to those candidates who got the minimum essential marks. The validity of the certificate is 7 years from the date of issuance of certificate.

Note -

• There is no restrictions about the number of attempts by the candidates
•  The candidates once got the TET certificate may also apply for next TET examination for better score.
