RRC CHENNAI RECRUITMENT FOR GROUP C AND POST FOR CULTURAL AND SCOUT GUIDE QUOTA 2011

Southern Railway invites applications from eligible candidates for the recruitment on Group C and Group D posts. Both the posts are available against Cultural Quota and Guides Quota. Details related to post might be seen below in following paras: -

Sr. No. 01

Post Group: – Group C (Cultural Quota)

No. of Posts: – 02 [01 post is for vocalist (light music) and rest is for instrumentalist (tabla)]

Age Limit: – 18 to 30 yrs as on 01^st January 2012

Age Relaxation: – Max age relaxation will be given for OBC candidates up to 03 yrs, SC / ST candidates up to 05 yrs

Pay Scale: – Rs. 5200-20200/- with Rs. 1900/- grade pay

Essential Qualification: – Candidates should be Degree / Diploma holder / Certificate in music from recognised institute.

Desirable: – Candidates should be experienced in the field and perform in AIR / Doordarshan.

Post Group: - Group C (Scouts and Guides)

No. of Vacancies: – 02

Pay Scale: – As same as mentioned above

Essential Qualification: – Should have been an active member of a scouts organisation for at least 03 yrs; should have a good record of participation in scouts / guide activities at district level.

Age Limit: – As same as mentioned above

Sr. No. 03

Post Group: – Group D (Scouts & Guides)

No. of Posts: – 12 (02 posts for each division; such as Chennai,Tiruchchirappalli, Madurai Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram and Salem.

Essential Qualification, Age and Scale of Pay is as same as mentioned above

Selection Method: – Candidates will be selected on the basis of written test.

Examination Fee: – IPO of Rs. 40/- which should be drawn in favour of “Assistant Personal Officer / Recruitment” payable at Chennai.

How to apply: – Candidates interested may apply only in prescribed format along with all supporting attested documents.

Applications complete in all respect should be sent latest by 09^th August 2011. Candidates of far flung areas may send their applications till 23^rd August 2011
