National Highways Authority of India re-invites application from reputed Security Agencies / Other manpower supply agencies to provide man power as per NHAI guidelines / norms for Toll Fee collection departmentally at following toll location.
1) Toll Plaza, km. 26.200 ( Near Maithi ) in Muzaffarpur District, State of Bihar on NH-57 under PIU Muzaffarpur.
Interested Security Agency / Other manpower supply agencies may submit their sealed application along with documents on or before 9th Aug 2011 to the office of Regional Officer cum General Manager, D-63, First Floor, Srikrishanapuri, Patna-800001 ( Bihar ) Phone no. 0612-2540898. The details of the designations are :
Key personnel’s :
1. Name of the post – Plaza Manager
Nos deployed per plaza ( for all shifts ) – 01
Essential Qualification -
a) BE / B.Tech in IT, Computer science electronics & communication / electronics from any govt. recognized university or MCA from any govt. recognized university.
b) MBA as additional qualification is desirable and post qualification experience of two years in any commercial organization of repute.
2. Name of the post – Security Officer
Nos deployed per plaza ( for all shifts ) – 01
Essential Qualification –
Graduate in any discipline with post qualification experience of 10 years in relevant field in any govt. or Private organization of repute or retired defence personnel of rank equivalent to Capt. or above. The officer can be from paramilitary forces also of the rank of Dy SP and above
3. Name of the post – Accountant Officer
Nos deployed per plaza ( for all shifts ) – 01
Essential Qualification –
Graduate in any discipline with post qualification experience of 10 years in relevant field or CA / ICWA / SAS with post qualification experience of 5 years in any govt. or Private organization of repute.

Essential Qualification -
Graduate in any discipline and a diploma in computing from a recognized Institute of repute with post qualification experience of 10 years in relevant field or retired defence personnel of rank equivalent to ASO. or above. The officer can be from paramilitary forces also and the at least a diploma in computer application or equivalent from any govt. recognized Institute in India.
2. Name of the post – Accountant
No per shift ( for all lanes ) – 01
Nos deployed per plaza ( for all shifts ) – 03
Essential Qualification -
Graduate in any discipline with post qualification experience of 5 years in any govt. or private organization of repute.
3. Name of the post – Toll collector
No. per lane – 01
No per shift ( for all lanes ) – 04 ( In case of 4lane plaza )
Nos deployed per plaza ( for all shifts ) – 12*+03 ( 1 reliever per shift) = 15
Essential Qualification -
12th pass from any recognized board in India or retired defence personnel with operational knowledge or Computer.
4. Name of the post – Toll Attendant

Essential Qualification – 8th standard pass.
General Instruction :
a) Application must be submitted in Hard bound form with proper indexing and page no. Any loose bound and spiral bound application shall be summarily rejected.
b) Application can be submitted by any security / other man power supplying agencies.
c) Such agencies must have PF and ESI registrations no. and valid labour license for more than 100 workers, and be preferably registered within the State in which plaza is located.
d) Such agencies shall provide the manpower for engagement of 50 % ex-servicemen out of total manpower to be hired.
e) The agencies must have experience of toll collection of at least one assignment for at least three months.
f) The selected agency has to deposit the Bank Guarantee as security towards the performance of the man power to be supplied by them equal to the two days collection of the plaza where the plaza is in operation or two days estimated collection as determined by the PD / declared in the NIT in case of new plaza.
General Information :
a) All documents must be attested by a gazette officer.
b) Required man power is to be provided within 3 days from the date of requisition by NHAI.
c) No service charges will be payable to the Security Agencies for providing such man power as per NHAI guidelines / norms.
