Recruitment for the post of Scientist-B May 2011

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for fill up two vacant posts of Scientist- B and C (Medical) In Pay Band-III. Rs.15600 to 39100, Candidates having required qualifications can apply up to 25th July 2011.

Name of the post: Scientist- B (Medical)

Vacancy: One post Reserved for OBC Candidates

Pay Scale: (Pay Band-3) Rs.15600 to 39100+ Rs.5400

Qualifications:

Candidates should have MCI Recognized MBBS Degree

Desirable:

  1. Candidates should be MD in Preventive/Pediatrics/Medicine from any recognized University
  2. Teaching/Research Experience With Additional Post Doctoral in applicable subject from recognized institute
  3. Candidates should have knowledge Computer Application

Age: Candidates should not be more than 35 years in age (Relaxation will given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per DPT)

Name of the post: Scientist –C (Medical)

Pay Scale: (Pay band) Rs.15600 to 39100+ Rs.6600 GP

Qualifications:

  1. Candidates should have MCI Recognized MBBS Degree
  2. R and D Exp. of 4 years in Pathology/Microbiology

Age: Candidates should not be more than 40 years (Relaxation will given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per DPT)

  1. Candidates can obtain application form from the office of the “Director, Regional Medical Research Centre (ICMR), Chandrasekharpur, Bhubaneswar, Orissa 751023” by hand or by sending a written request in a self Addressed Envelop should be stamped of Rs.5.00
  2. Candidates can also download application form from the website www.icmr.nic.in before closing date
