About CHSE:

Council of Higher secondary education, Orissa (CHSE) was established in 1982 under the Orissa higher secondary act 1982. It was assented on 23^rd October 1982 by the Governor of Orissa. This Council was formed to develop, control and regulate higher secondary education in the State of Orissa. Functions of the Administration of Higher Secondary council were started from 7^th September 1982. At that time, the administrative office of the council was at Goutam Nager, Bhubaneshwar in a rented building. After that, Council constructed own building in Samantapur for administrative office.
