Recruitment for Computer Trainee, IT Consultant and Junior Research Fellow May 2011

Indian Statistical Institute (ISI) invites applications for the recruitment of IT Consultant, Computer Trainee, JRF and a Project Lined Persons for various departments.

Details are below:

1. Computer Trainee (04) on Temporary Basis

For Computer and Statistical Service Centre

Contract Period: for one Year from the date of Joining (it can be terminated earlier or extended later)

Qualifications: M.Sc in SC/IT or MCA or Equivalent

Payment: Rs.12000 PM (consolidated)

Age: Not more than 35 years as on 01/05/2011 (SC/ST/OBC will get usual relaxation)

Last date: 15/06/2011

2. IT Consultant- Temporary Basis

Work: For preparing Requirement Budget, analysis, Specification

Last date: 31/05/2011

3. Project Linked Person (01) (Temporary Basis)

Project Title: TMMA in Proterozoic schist belt

Qualification: M.Sc in Applied Geology/ Geology or equivalent degree with 55% marks

Desirable: GATE/ NET qualifications

Payment: Rs.16000 to 20000 per month

Contract period: till 31/03/2012

Age: 35 years as on 01/05/2011 (SC/ST and OBC Candidates will get relaxation in age as usual)

Last date: 20/06/2011

4. Junior Research Fellow (JRF) – Temporary Basis

Department: Machine Intelligence Unit

Qualifications: M.Tech/ M.E or Equivalent Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science, Electrical Engineering/ Electronics, IT or equivalent degree

Payment: Rs.16000 per month + HRA 30% according to norm of the institute

Last Date: 11/06/2011

5. Project Linked Scientists (02) and Project Linked Research Personnel (05)

Qualifications: Ph.D Degree or Master Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Electronics and Telecommunication Engg., Computer Science

Payment: Rs.40000 to 70000 PM (Consolidate)

Contract Period: till 31/03/2012

Age: 35 years as on 01/03/2011
