Indian Air force invites application for the recruitment of Non-technical post from eligible and interested unmarried Indian male candidates. For more information please see below: -
Post Name: – Airman.
Trade: – Group ‘Y’ {Except Auto Tech. GTI and IAF (P)}.
Age: – Born between 01st January 1991 and 28th February 1995.
Last Date: – Application must be receive by office on or before 10th June 2011.
Qualification: – Candidate must pass the senior secondary examination with Science/ Arts/ Commerce subjects with minimum 50% marks and pass in each subject.
Diploma in any stream of Engineering from any Government recognized Polytechnic/ Institute shall be permitted to appear for Group ‘Y’ in Indian Air Force.
Medical Standards: -
Height: – 152.5 cm.
Chest: – Minimum Range of expansion 5centimeter.
Weight: – in proportion to height and age.
Vision: – Visual average: 6/36 and correctable to at least 6/9 for each eye with goggles, Dioptectric power not exceeding +3.5 including astigmatism.
Corneal Surgery: – PRK/LASIK is not tolerable.
Dental: – Good set of teeth, healthy Gums and minimum 14 dental points.
Pay and Allowances: – Minimum starting pay is Rs. 15477/- per month after training period which in subsequent years may rise up to Rs. 37100/- depending upon the rank attained. In training period a stipend of Rs. 5700/- per month will be paid.
Selection Process: – Firstly candidates appear in written test. Than after those candidates who pass the written examination are to undergo Physical Fitness Test on the same or next day. Applicants who have passed the PFT and written test will be interviewed. Working knowledge of English is a precondition. Than after those candidates who qualify in the interview will be medically examined.
How to apply: – Fill up the standard application form and enclose three recent passport size color photograph, one is pasted on the application form and two are stapled on the top left corner of the application form, Attested Matriculation certificate in support of Date of Birth, one 24x10cm unstamped envelope stapled with the application form.

Notes: – candidates must enclose all Original Academic and supporting qualification certificate and four copies of their color photograph which was submitted at the time of application at the time of examination. Application form must be send by ordinary post.
