Orissa Power Transmission Corporation Limited (OPTCL) is a state hold power utility institute in Orissa. It occupies in the business of Transmission of electricity with a vision to appear most important utilities in the country in the Transmission space. OPTCL invites application for the post of Management Trainee (MT) Finance, Management Trainee (MT) Electrical, Management Trainee- Junior (MT-JR) Civil and Management Trainee- Junior (MT-JR) Electrical. Age Relaxation: Relaxation of age will be awarded by the rule of Government of India.

For SC,ST, Ex-Serviceman and Women candidates – 5 years

For SEBC- 3 years

For PH candidates- 10 years

Application Fee: Rs. 200/-

Fee exempted for SC/ ST candidates.

Mode of Application Fee: The candidate should pay the application fee by Demand Draft only drawn on a scheduled Bank in favor of DDO, Hqrs, OPTCL, at Bhubaneswar.

How to Apply: The candidates can download the application form its website and duly filled in prescribed format and affix with one recent passport size photograph, candidates must write on the super scribed envelope as “Application for the post of Management Trainee/Management Trainee-Junior (Electrical/ Finance/Civil)”.The applicant must attach their photo copy of essential certificates as educational certificate, cast certificate, DD and send it to the address of Post Box No. 99,GPO,Kolkata-700001 by Ordinary post.

Last Date for Receiving Application form: 7^th May 2011

Procedure of Selection: The selection will be made on the basis of written test and interview. In the written test, questions will be related to (i) General Aptitude (50 questions) (ii) Subject Knowledge (100 questions). There are negative marking. One forth marks will subtract for each wrong answer. The candidates who qualify in the written examination will eligible for interview. Final selection will be based on Interview/ Personality Test.
