Online Applications are invited for recruitment on the post of Technician Grade -2 in Power Distribution Corporation like eastern / middle / western/ southern / kasko and Power Transmission Corporation under Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited. For this work applications are invited from eligible person for the following posts. Details are given below:

Name of the post – Technician Grade -2 (Trained) Electricity.

Number of vacant post – 2974 (OBC-715, Gen.-1778, SC-353, ST-128)

Pay Scale – 5200-20200/- (Grade pay-2800)

QUALIFICATION –(1) Passed in Secondary education Board in U.P. high school or equivalent Two years  exam passed with Science & Math subject.

(2)Two years certificate in Electrician Trade of All India or State basis.

(3)In the time of Interview the candidate should

Carry 80 hours Course on Computer Concept (CCC)

Registered with DOEACC.

Age Limit- (1) Minimum -18 and Maximum-35 years on 01-01-2011.

(2) U.P. residential for SC/ ST and OBC (Non Creamy Layer) age relaxation in 5 years.

(3)On dependent Freedom Fitters age reluctant for 5 years

(4) Age will be relaxed by more than three years exceeding service period who have performed minimum 5 years of service as defense person.

Reservation: OBC (Non Creamy Layer) who are residential for U.P.

(2) Ex Defense Serviceman who worked with 5 years whose given 3% relaxation & who dependent on Freedom Fitters has 2 % .

(3)For the case of no any candidates for SC or ST has selection procedure dependent on U.P. Govt.

No Objection Certificate (NOC): The candidates who employees of Govt. or semi Govt. department. They should be given NOC certificate.

For SC/ST (residential) -400/-

Mode of Application – Crossed Bank Demand Draft from SBI in favor of Secretary, Electricity Service Commission, Lucknow

Candidate must write reverse side of crossed DD his / her name, Post Code and Control No. (For Online applicants).

Candidates who are going to Offline application must write Name of the Father in place of control no.

Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on the basis of written Examination & Interview.

Written Test will consist only objective questions.

For Technical subject there will be 150 marks, for GK- 20, for Resoning-20 and for General Hindi-10 marks. The Candidates who succeed in the examination they had been call for interview.
